The town is made up of small houses painted in an immaculate white, shady lanes with the characteristic loggias, all enhanced by the sea breeze that carries scents from the sea and the rocks. The architecture is very simple and Mediterranean, with outside stairways, graceful archways embellished with colourful flowers that often shelter icons of saints.
